A team, which was run over by Wisconsin the week before. The emotional roller-coaster ride must come at the expense of our offensive master mind, Jim Bollman. He makes it so simple for our opposing defenses and after every loss this season, the opposition say the same thing. We dare them to run. There's absolutely no short passing game to offset the attack, which is needed to keep the defense on their heels. No bubble screens to quick receivers, dump off passes to backs or tight ends. Oh, I take that back, ONE, which went for a touchdown. If that's not a wake up call Bollman. No quick slants, no misdirection, no roll outs with crossing receivers. Plain and simple, no simple passing game, which puts more pressure on our young Q.B. We run on first, second and pass long on third, when the defense knows we have too pass. It's freaking absurb to know that Bollman is paid to run an offense that most couch coaches could stop. It's so frustrating to see this week in and week out, with no changes being made. I love Fickell, but to allow Bollman to remain in control of the offense is Fickells fault as well. The decisions rest on the head coach and to watch this offense perform with it's predictable play-calling and not making changes is unacceptable. The formations give our plays away, because nothing is done differntly out of them to make the defense guess. The last offensive possession in regulation, we ran misdirection and found some success. So why not do it all game and only when our backs are against the wall and added pressure is put on Braxton, which handled it well wih the T.D. pass on 4th down. But it's unfair for all this talent to be waisted on the field, week in and week out. Jordon hall, could be lining up in the slot, in bubble screen and killing defenses with his talent, but nothing of the sort ever occurs. The Block O nation must see the opposing offenses run the proper offense to appreciatye that part of the game to the expense of our defense. It's sickening that Bollman still has a position, he simply can't get it done. He MUST GO!United Through Christhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00058878673620959917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5098065405028893513.post-3613836141418056842011-11-14T11:42:37.744-05:002011-11-14T11:42:37.744-05:00So much for controlling your own destiny.
